Yes. The CLM50 battery powered lawn mower delivers up to 40 minutes of runtime on a single charge with a 42cm cutting width, which covers most medium and large lawns in one session. The Intelligent Omni Blade automatically increases speed in thicker grass, so it keeps cutting cleanly across the whole lawn rather than bogging down. For the majority of home lawns, a battery powered mower now handles the job a gas mower used to.
Up to 40 minutes of cordless mowing on a single charge, enough to cover most medium and large lawns in one go. There is no gas to refill and no cord to limit how far you roam, just press the button and mow. When you are done, recharge the battery and it is ready for next time.
Yes. The CLM50 starts instantly at the press of a button, with no pull cord, no priming, and no choke. It gives you the push button start convenience people look for in premium gas mowers, but with none of the gas, fumes, or cold-morning cord-pulling. Press the button and you are mowing.
The CLM50 is a push mower, and at just 31.2 lb that is genuinely easy. It is light enough that you do not need self-propulsion to move it around the lawn, which also keeps it simpler, lighter, and easier to store than a heavy self-propelled machine. You stay in full control of pace and direction, which is ideal for lawns with borders, beds, and tight corners.
It weighs 31.2 lb, which is light for a lawn mower and a big part of why it is so easy to use. That low weight makes it simple to push across the lawn, turn at the edges, and lift for storage. If you have found traditional mowers heavy and awkward, a lightweight cordless lawn mower like the CLM50 makes mowing far less of a chore.
The CLM50 has a 42cm cutting width and six adjustable cutting heights from 30 to 80mm. The cutting width lets you cover ground efficiently, while the height range lets you set anything from a short, tidy finish to a longer length that protects the lawn through hot or dry spells. Adjusting the height is quick, so you can change it as the season and the grass change.
For most home lawns, battery wins on convenience. A gas mower delivers power but brings weight, noise, fumes, pull-starts, oil changes, and fuel runs. The CLM50 battery powered lawn mower delivers the performance to handle medium and large lawns with none of that: no gas, no oil, no engine maintenance, push button start, and quieter operation. A gas mower still suits very large or rough ground, but for everyday lawns the battery option is simply less work to own.
Gtech is award-winning British engineering with 25 years of cordless innovation behind it, founded by inventor Nick Grey. The CLM50 puts push button start, a lightweight 31.2 lb body, 40 minutes of runtime, and an auto-adjusting Omni Blade into a cordless mower at far better value than premium gas or battery brands. Rated 4.5 stars across more than 2,800 reviews, it is the British garden brand your neighbors have not discovered yet.

The CLM50 Cordless Push Lawn Mower is praised for its lightweight design, ease of assembly, and efficient runtime. Customers appreciate its modern appearance and the quality of its cut. While some feedback on the battery is mixed, the overall service and delivery experience are highly regarded.

"I am waiting for my order"
"I love my new lawn mower. It was very easy to assemble. I put the battery on charge and within half an hour I was out mowing the lawn. I only have a small garden and although the mower is a little larger than I expected it does a wonderful job and is light and easy to manoeuvre. The grass box is very easy to put on and take off . Both my husband and I have physical disabilities but we had absolutely no problem using our new mower."
"Looks really good and a lovely change to be white. It’s a very good mower, easy to clean being white. It’s very quiet which is great. So easy to put the battery in, adjust the height and to adjust the handle bar. It mows brilliantly and is so easy to manoeuvre. I absolutely love this mower and I knew it would be worth the money because Gtech is such a good brand."
"Early days but my initial impression is very positive. It is so easy to push compared to my last cordless mower, the handle height is adjustable which helps for us taller people. The power increases automatically when it senses longer grass, which is a good feature. One annoying feature is the plastic housing above the blade is not flat and grass gets stuck in it, not a big deal but more difficult to clean. I would not have paid the original price of £600, but at the reduced price of £300 is very reasonable."
"The battery gave up on my old gtech lawnmower which I had had for years. Rather than buy a new battery at a rediculous cost I thught I would buy a new lawnmower. It only has half a blade but apears to work ok & pick up a bit better. it speeds up when the grass is a bit longer. otherwise there doesnt seem a lot of difference except the battery charges in an hour. One problem how do I use my leaf blower as it uses the same battery as my old mower?"
"So easy to use. Instruction manual clearly set out and understandable. I found it heavy to lift out of the box as I’m a very small, elderly person. It was dream to mow with, light to push and cut really well. The battery had to be recharged once but at just the right time for a cup of coffee! I have bought other gtech products in the past and I have never been disappointed. I find gtech a great brand. Highly recommended."
"Really comfortable to push for taller people. Would prefer max power on demand (button) or just full power all of the time. Higher revs= cleaner cut. I would also like to see a roller on the back. Love my lines on the lawn. It's quiet, folds away perfectly. I did buy a spare battery but I've not needed it. Bought the mower at half price on a promotion and it is without a doubt the best 48v mower on the market. Worth every penny but needs a couple of mods to be perfect for me."
"I am a lady of 82 I’ve been struggling with my huge mountfield motor mower really for the last 4 years, since my husband died 13years ago it’s become a problem, I’ve now cut my grass twice with my CLM50 and I am absolutely delighted with it, it’s so light to handle around my trees so happy 😀 I have to empty it more often but that’s not a problem thank you Gtech totally recommend you."
"Disappointing. Not in the same league as Bosch Rotak machines. Have used the GTech machine about a dozen times and notice a distinct ‘laziness’ in performance. The battery also habitually drops power then increases again even when fully charged. Most GTech products excellent workhorses, sadly this is not one of them."
"Not impressed with this lawnmower, had this for 3 weeks and problems with machine not keeping charge, fully charged and stops abruptly causing lumps to be taken out of my lawn have contacted customer service and awaiting new mower, maybe have to go back to my electric machine, will give new machine a try but not expecting much."
A battery powered lawn mower gives you the power to cut your lawn without gas, cords, fumes, or pull-starts. The Gtech CLM50 is a fully cordless battery powered lawn mower that starts at the push of a button and delivers up to 40 minutes of runtime on a single charge, enough for most medium and large lawns. At 31.2 lb it is light to maneuver, and the Intelligent Omni Blade automatically increases speed in thicker grass for a clean, even cut. For homeowners ready to leave gas behind, it is the battery powered lawn mower built for real lawns.
The best battery powered lawn mower is the one that matches your lawn without overcomplicating the job. For medium and large lawns, the Gtech CLM50 pairs a 42cm cutting width with up to 40 minutes of runtime, so you cover more ground per charge, and a 30 to 80mm cutting height range across six settings to control the look of your grass. Push button start, a lightweight body, and an auto-adjusting blade make it one of the best battery powered lawn mower choices for homeowners who want gas-level capability without the gas.
A cordless lawn mower removes the two biggest frustrations of mowing: trailing extension cords and gas engine upkeep. The CLM50 cordless lawn mower runs entirely on a rechargeable battery, so there is no cord to cut, no fuel to mix, no oil to change, and no engine to service. Press the button and mow. With 40 minutes of cordless runtime and a lightweight 31.2 lb design, it gives you complete freedom to move around the lawn, around obstacles, and back to the shed without a single cable in sight.
A cordless push lawn mower puts you in control of pace and direction, which is ideal for lawns with borders, beds, and tight corners. Because the CLM50 weighs just 31.2 lb, pushing it is genuinely effortless, you steer it where you want without fighting the weight that makes heavier mowers a chore. For most medium lawns, a lightweight cordless push lawn mower is easier to handle and store than a bulky self-propelled machine, and the push button start means no cord-pulling to get going.
The appeal of a push button start lawn mower is obvious to anyone who has ever yanked a gas mower's pull cord again and again on a cold morning. The CLM50 starts instantly at the press of a button, every time, with no priming, no choke, and no flooding. It delivers the push button start convenience people look for in premium gas mowers, but without the gas, the noise, or the fumes. Press, and you are mowing.
Weight is what makes a mower a pleasure or a chore. At 31.2 lb, the CLM50 is a genuinely lightweight cordless lawn mower, easy to push across the lawn, easy to turn at the edges, and easy to lift and store when you are done. That low weight is also why it does not need to be self-propelled: there is simply not much to push. For anyone who finds traditional mowers heavy and awkward, a lightweight cordless lawn mower changes mowing from a workout into a quick job.
A gas mower delivers power but comes with weight, noise, fumes, pull-start hassle, oil changes, and fuel runs. A battery powered lawn mower like the CLM50 delivers the cutting performance to handle medium and large lawns with none of that overhead: no gas, no oil, no engine maintenance, push button start, and far quieter operation. Up to 40 minutes of runtime covers most lawns in one session. For the majority of homeowners, the battery powered option is simply less work to own and run than a gas mower.
Runtime and cut quality are what a mower lives or dies by. The CLM50 delivers up to 40 minutes of cordless runtime, enough to mow most medium and large lawns on a single charge. Its Intelligent Omni Blade directs all motor power to a single blade for faster rotation and stronger airflow, lifting clippings cleanly into the bin, and it automatically boosts speed when it meets thicker grass, putting extra power exactly where the lawn needs it. The result is a clean, consistent cut from the first pass to the last.
Six cutting height settings from 30 to 80mm let you set the CLM50 exactly how you want your lawn to look, from a short, tidy finish to a longer, healthier length through hot or dry spells. Adjusting the height is quick, so you can change it through the season as the grass and weather change. That range of control is what turns simple mowing into proper lawn care, all from one lightweight cordless machine.
Gtech has engineered cordless tools for over 25 years, founded by British inventor Nick Grey on the belief that everyday jobs can be done smarter. The CLM50 applies that thinking to mowing: push button start, a lightweight 31.2 lb body, 40 minutes of runtime, an auto-adjusting Omni Blade, and six cutting heights, all cordless and gas-free. Rated 4.5 stars across more than 2,800 reviews and shipped free to US addresses with a 2-year warranty, Gtech is the British garden brand your neighbors have not discovered yet.
