"The strimmer was very satisfactory. It coped with fairly long grass on my allotment and the advertised battery life of 30 minutes was pretty accurate. I got through three blades in a one hour session (I bought a second battery) hitting stones or bits of wood but with more care I think a blade would have lasted a session easily. The instructions were clear and it felt well-made and safe. The machine was reasonably light although I felt it in my shoulders the day after the session . Before and after photos shown."

"This strimmer is the second I have bought. My daughter’s borrowed mine and we’re so impressed, I treated them to this one. These strimmers are light and easily used, with one exception. The blades are very difficult to fit. I have to use a large hook to pull the blade into place. My youngest daughter has also found this method helpful."

"This is the 2nd Gtech strimmer we have bought, think we just wore out our Ist model with over use and after more than 12 years. The cutting blade system is so easy to change and use. Temperamental Grass Edge Trimmer

"The lawn edge cutter looks good and feels good but the cover keeps falling off and to edge a very small lawn takes at least two to three blades. I would have sent it straight back but I didn’t know how to undo the handle to get it back in the box. So I would not recommend. I gave enjoyed my other Gtech products."

Great Machine

"Yes this is my second one and I find the weight and balance to my liking, l had open heart surgery last year and people helped me with the hedges but 12 months later I have started myself again and this hedge trimmer is perfect weight no straining, I’d had my previous one for a few years and for some reason it snapped hence I bought another one, l wasn’t going to let that mishap stop me from getting a replacement simply because of what I have said, ITS PERFECT for me anyway"

Poor product

"First time using the product was billowing smoke from the base. I’m overly concerned that for the price that was paid by my father this product doesn’t feel safe when using it . Battery was fully charged and had only been used for less than 5mins before what I think / hope was overheating but very poor for the price. The strimmer parts are dangerous flying off at ‘random’ moments when grass strimming. Overall it’s a very expensive poor experience for such a big brand"

"Thus is the second one I’ve had, the first one was great until the battery wouldn’t go in anymore. I contacted Gtech but got no reply. The beacons is much the same but the battery seems to take much longer to charge than the old one and the charge doesn’t seem to last as long."

"Hard to get a good cut where the grass is growing next to a wall or hard surface path because the blades quickly wear. Battery runs out before I am less than half way round my lawn and then takes over an hour to charge."
