Good Buy

"Only just put together and tried out on small forsythia tree about 11foot high. Runs smoothly but most importantly it is light. Great product for women, even oldre women who may not have the muscle power. Easy adjustable angle piece which does a nice job. The harness could do with improvement with another anchor hold along handle to allow weight to be taken on shoulders more especially for women."

"The long reach hedge trimmer does not reach as far as I had hoped when trying to cut the top of a thick hawthorn hedge. However the improved blade cuts much better than previous model easily dealing with a lot thicker growth. The on/off switches (2) are much easier to manage than my older model where I had to cope with 3 switches."

A little disappointed, I would

"A little disappointed, I would advise you read the small print carefully!. Cutting length up-to 10 ft is misleading, The length of pole and blade attachment measures a maximum 65. 5 inches (197cm). I’m 5ft 5inches and could only reach maximum height of 8ft 5. 5 inches (257cm), on my tip toes. You’d have to be a giant to reach cutting height of 10ft. On positive note, it is useful there are no cables, to get tangled in, the battery is compact, and the blades cut well."

"I must be honest. and say I was not expecting too much from such a lightweight piece of equipment. However I was delighted to see the results it produced after dealing with an extremely large and unruly hedge. The cutting power of the blades astonished me and the ease of use was far in excess of my expectations. My hedge is of mixed varieties and the trimmer dealt with it easily. "The main advantage of this hedge trimmer and branch cutter is the light weight. The battery power is also quite good and both attachments cut very well. However attaching the trimmer or cutter require some effort at squeezing with thumb against the fingers of one hand while aligning and placing with the other hand. This is even more of a challenge when it comes to disassembling the equipment for storage. The poles are also not easy to pull apart as they appear rather stuck."
